Hotel Covington's restaurant Coppin's announced new menu items that can be enjoyed on the recently transformed patio.
The hotel's patio, enclosed on the 600 block of Madison Avenue, is now decorated in winter themes and throw blankets from Covington-based Donna Salyers' Fabulous Furs.
Tables have been spaced to accommodate COVID-19 guidelines.
While outdoor dining has continued to be permitted in recent months, indoor dining was shuttered again by the governor in late November to curb a spike in positive coronavirus cases. Indoor dining is expected to resume in Kentucky on Monday at 50% capacity.
Coppin's is offering a limited carryout menu.
'As Kentucky restaurants and bars continue to navigate service restrictions, we have made updates to the operations at Coppin's,", said Guy van Rooyen, chief executive officer at Salyers Group, which operates Hotel Covington. "These changes allow us to offer our guests the full Hotel Covington tailored experience safely while providing meaningful work for our employees. Coppin's invites guests to celebrate the little things, whether it's a date night, birthday or anniversary - with us in person or from
the comfort of their own home."
Copppin's is open for Lunch Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., dinner Wednesday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m., and Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Reservations are requested for outdoor dining service.
