ANN ARBOR, MI -- A Hilton-branded hotel is expected to be build south of downtown Ann Arbor.
City council approved the development on Tuesday, Sept. 8 for a four-story, 71,662-square-foot Home2 Hotel, which is part of the Hilton brand. The hotel at 361 West Eisenhower Parkway is expected to hold 115 rooms, 115 parking spaces and four bicycles spaces, according to the developer’s plan.

The plans involve demolishing a one-story office building on the existing 2.6-acre site for the hotel that would include a lot that can be accessed from Signature Boulevard, an indoor pool, outdoor patio area, lobby and breakfast area, large meeting room and a conference room.
Ann Arbor Superior Hotel Group LLC, which is led by Detroit-based businessman Dante Bacall of Bacall Companies, Inc., purchased the site in December 2019 for $1.8 million, city records show.
Council also approved a separate hotel plan a four-story Aloft by Marriott with 128 rooms and a four-story Home2 by Hilton with 107 rooms at 2800 Jackson Ave., the site of the former Michigan Inn. The site is expected to hold 237 parking spots, bicycle spaces for each building and four electric vehicle charging stations. Ann Arbor Best Hospitality purchased the property for $3 million in 2017 from Michiginns Real Estate, LLC, city records show.
