No doubt: now is the most beautiful time of year in New England. Not only are the local trees displaying a brilliant, kaleidoscopic palette of fiery shades, the air is undeniably invigorating, cool, and crisp. But while many head to the destination’s mountains and rural pockets to catch the fall foliage, one Boston hotel is proving some of the best leaf-peeping can be discovered within the city.

Through November 15, Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is offering a special package called Autumn in the Town and Country. In addition to being welcomed with complimentary valet parking, you’ll also be treated to a selection of local hard ciders, salted caramel sauce, crisp apples, and a pre-stamped postcard to mail to a loved one in your accommodations.

But the most enticing part of Autumn in the Town and Country is the bountiful basket Senior Sous Chef Kelley Schmidt will put together, so you can enjoy a scenic picnic in the “country” – all recommendations are within a two-hour driving distance of the hotel – or within walking distance in “town.” “As a compact and flat city, Boston is extremely walkable, which means that exploring the great outdoors is the perfect activity,” says General Manager Reed Kandalaft. No matter where you decide to go, though, your lunch – which includes a sandwich, salad, side, cookies, and Spindrift sparkling water – will be just as memorable as the spectacular setting.

Aside from the package, there’s plenty of other reasons you should stay here. If you’re someone who travels with wellness in mind, you’re in luck because the entire seventh floor is dedicated to restoring both body and mind. “There’s a 64-foot lap pool that arcs along the building’s curved windows, an extensive fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, and a stunning spa with five treatment rooms and a Private Salon Suite,” explains Kandalaft. (The spa isn’t open yet, but you can book the Private Salon Suite for personalized haircare services.)

Though the hotel’s signature all-day restaurant, One + One, remains closed for the time being, the lobby lounge Trifecta is open during the weekends for several intimate activations. On Friday nights, resident wine expert Julia Casale shares some of her favorite varietals and regions during “Wine Down With Julia,” while on Saturday evenings, talented mixologist Molly Brady crafts cocktails based around a theme. But if you’re in town during the week, don’t worry: you’ll still be able to enjoy custom libations – in the comfort of your room. “Every day, we featuring The Trifecta Trolley, the ultimate roving bar cart that goes door to door to mix cocktails for our guests at a safe distance,” says Kandalaft. And Sundays, Trifecta hosts a positively pretty high tea with tiers of seasonal scones, delicate tea sandwiches, assorted baked sweets, and your choice of tea from local company J’enway Tea Co.

And to ensure your peace of during these highly uncertain times, “Four Seasons has developed the Lead With Care initiative,” explains Kandalaft. “It combines public health expertise and access to leading technologies and tools to establish clear procedures that educate and empower employees to take care of guests and each other.” So no matter when or why you’re visiting Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston, feel confident knowing that prioritizing your safety and well-being is an ongoing effort.
