With 98 stylish rooms and a strong commitment to art and sustainable design, Canopy by Hilton São Paulo Jardins raises the bar in South America’s largest city.
Remarkably, the new Canopy by Hilton São Paulo Jardins is the first property in Hilton Worldwide’s lifestyle category to launch anywhere in South America. We take a closer look at this landmark opening.
A locally inspired stay in São Paulo
Guests staying at Canopy by Hilton São Paulo Jardins are right in the heart of the action, just ten minutes’ away from star attractions like the Museum de Arte de São Paulo, the Ema Gordon Klabin Cultural Foundation and Oscar Freire Street.
The attractive common spaces at the hotel, owned and developed by Tati Construtora e Incorporadora, were designed by architect Maria Magalhães, who chose a bright colour palette of coral, teal and earthy leather to foster a welcoming atmosphere. Other significant contributors to the property’s one-of-a-kind ambience include Brazilian street artist Speto, creator of the lively façade by the entrance; and furniture designers Paulo Mendes and Lina Bo Bardi.
“São Paulo was a natural choice for launching Hilton’s first lifestyle property in South America given its position among the world’s most popular destinations, with numerous museums, rich architectural tradition and award-winning restaurants,” said Phil Cordell, global category head, Hilton lifestyle & global brand head, Canopy by Hilton. “As people begin to travel again, we look forward to welcoming guests to Canopy São Paulo Jardins, which was created as a natural extension of the neighbourhood to help visitors relax, recharge and experience the city like a local.”
Sustainable comfort and modern amenities
At Canopy by Hilton, sustainability is an important part of the overall experience, and its new São Paulo Jardins site is no exception. All 98 rooms come with comfortable modern amenities, gas-powered air conditioning and a glass water bottle that guests can refill to avoid plastic waste.
On the premises, guests will find two impressive F&B outlets – Stella Restaurant and Barno Rooftop Bar. Moreover, the hotel offers two meeting and event spaces, as well as an open terrace with a floor space of nearly 4,000 sq m.
“As we continue expanding our portfolio in key destinations throughout Latin America, we are thrilled to introduce a new brand in Brazil,” said Jorge Giannattasio, senior vice president and head of operations, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton. “Representing our newest addition to the largest city in the country, Canopy by Hilton São Paulo Jardins will provide an authentic experience for travellers visiting this thriving destination and vibrant neighbourhood.”
