MILFORD, CT — A Hilton Garden Inn company official contacted Milford Patch and said the hotel will remain open and isn't closing. In a filing with the state Department of Labor, hotel officials said that 49 employees are being laid off. But the hotel is staying open.
"We are actually NOT closing; we are temporarily cutting back staff due to the current business climate. And hopeful, this will be resolved soon. The hotel is open and looking forward to welcoming our guests," Kellie McCrory told Patch.
