A man is in custody after barricading himself in a Myrtle Beach hotel room. Officers were called to the Crown Reef resort at 1:30 a.m. Friday morning for a disturbance at the hotel. Master Corporal Tom Vest said police tried to get him out of the room on the 10th floor of the hotel but he refused to come out. Around 5:20 a.m. Vest said the person of interest had been taken into custody without incident and guests staying on that floor were allowed back inside at 6 a.m. No injuries were reported and the story is still developing.
