Did you happen to notice that Hilton opened 40 properties under its Collection label in 2019? There's good news coming if you're a fan of the Hilton Collection portfolio. We now have word that Hilton intends to open additional Collection hotels throughout 2020.
Curio Collection and Tapestry Collection by Hilton were created to offer authentic, rich local experiences for guests. More than 100 Hilton properties are currently operating under the Collection banner around the world. The pace for openings in 2020 may not be as incredible as it was for 2019. However, we're still looking at some pretty exciting new locations. Here's the rundown for what's coming for the Curio Collection in 2020:
- The Emerald House Lisbon
- Navy Pier Chicago
- The Fellows House Cambridge
Hilton guests will be waiting until the year's third quarter before any of these properties open their doors. Each property is situated in a very enviable location. The Chicago Curio property will provide city views that extend to Lake Michigan. The Cambridge property will offer guests access to attractions located on the famed campus of Cambridge University. The Lisbon property's location in the heart of the Portuguese capital will offer walking access to several historic districts.
Hilton also plans to open three new properties belonging to the Tapestry Collection in 2020. The first two properties will be opening their doors before the end of the year's first quarter. However, Hilton is waiting until the final quarter of the year to open its final property for the year. Here's the list of what's coming to Tapestry in 2020:
- Atocha Hotel Madrid
- Le Belgrand Hotel Paris Champs Elysees
- Bermudiana Beach Resort
The plan for the Tapestry Collection offers a well-rounded mix of European city life and unencumbered paradise. The Madrid property will be situated within walking distance of Spain's busiest train station. Guests who stay at the Tapestry property in Bermuda will enjoy access to a secluded beach. Hilton has revealed that its new Parisian property will be designed as a tribute to French artists.
