The elegant new Hilton Aventura Miami truly knows how to hold a GRAND opening! VIPs from the City of Aventura and throughout South Florida and business leaders toured the brand-new Hilton to see the gorgeous Carrington Ballroom that accommodates over 500 guests, stroll through the magnificent lobby with chandeliers that looked like they belonged in a palace, the Gala Restaurant and MuseBar, saw The Reserve serving Starbucks (the only one in Florida), the beautiful rooms and suites and so much more. Mason Pace and his band entertained on the Garden Terrace where guests gathered for the first part of the evening, and then were escorted to the lobby Carrington Ballroom for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Upon entering the Carrington Ballroom, guests were greeted with singer Cameron Wheeler and aerialist Beatriz entertaining them and you could feel the excitement in the air. With sparkling white tablecloths and gold accents, you just knew that this would be a magnificent place to hold a wedding, anniversary or special family celebration as well as any corporate event.
The huge grand opening ribbon was delivered from the ceiling by Beatriz just before General Manager Kai Fischer took the stage to introduce the hotel ownership and special guests, including Larry Abbo; Michael Landa; Aventura Mayor Enid Weisman; Danny Hughes, Executive Vice President and President, Americas, Hilton; Bill Talbert, President & CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and Gary Pyott, Chairman of the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce. “We are thrilled to be a part of the Aventura community and appreciate the warm welcome we have received,” said Fischer.
“The hotel has a prime location right across from the Aventura Mall, convenient to Hard Rock Stadium and both international airports. The property is home to an elevated pool deck with food and beverage service, host to an exceptional culinary program and, of course, our team provides the world-class hospitality that is synonymous with the Hilton name. This hotel is far from ordinary.” How true that is!

The moment of ribbon-cutting arrived as the stage filled with the Hilton leadership and ownership team, Aventura’s elected officials and tourism leader Bill Talbert. And with the snap of the large golden scissors, the Hilton Aventura Miami was officially opened.
Word of the Hilton Aventura Miami has spread, and even on the grand opening weekend, they had a completely sold-out venue, which has been repeated almost every weekend since the opening.
