Indianapolis Colts wideout T.Y. Hilton will miss multiple weeks with an unspecified injury, sources told The Athletic on Sunday. The injury is not considered season-ending, but an exact timeline has not been established while information is still being gathered.
Hilton was injured Wednesday but later returned to practice. The 31-year-old is entering his 10th NFL season. He has played in at least 14 of 16 games in eight of those seasons, the only exception coming when he missed six games in 2019.
A four-time Pro Bowler, Hilton caught 56 passes for 762 yards and five touchdowns last season. He re-signed with the Colts on a one-year, $8 million deal as a free agent in March. He has spent his entire career in Indianapolis, which drafted him in the third round in 2012.
The Colts open the regular season Sept. 12 against the Seahawks.
