Hilton is now taking reservations for its newest hotel in the Asia Pacific, and this one is enormous.
The Hilton Singapore Orchard will open its doors in January as the chain’s largest hotel in the Asia Pacific. Located in the heart of downtown Singapore, the hotel will feature 1,080 rooms.
“As a hub and key city destination for business and leisure travelers, we are optimistic about the growth potential of Singapore’s hospitality scene as recovery begins and travel resumes over the long term,” Paul Hutton, vice president for Southeast Asia operations, said in a release.
The hotel has been converted from the current Mandarin Orchard Singapore to become a part of the Hilton family.
“We are delighted to start a brand new year with the launch of a significant addition to our regional portfolio through the opening of Hilton Singapore Orchard,” Hutton said. “It will represent a true landmark Hilton hotel in an important gateway city for Southeast Asia.”
The hotel is located about 30 minutes from Singapore Changi Airport and is situated in an area of the city filled with a mix of fine dining, retail, fashion and the country’s top medical specialists. Subways connecting travelers to the rest of the city are only a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
The Hilton Singapore Orchard features two towers and 1,080 rooms and suites, all refurbished for the launch. The rooms cover a wide range of sizes to fit the needs of single travelers to large groups.
The hotel includes two 24-hour fitness centers, an outdoor pool, an executive lounge, and a direct connection to a neighboring luxury shopping gallery featuring international fashion brands and numerous restaurants.
But guests won’t have to leave the hotel to experience fine dining. Hilton Singapore Orchard will have five restaurants of its own. Among those is Shisen Hanten, a Japanese influenced restaurant that has received two Michelin stars for excellence.
There are also a wide range of meeting and event spaces, ranging from rooms for 12 people to ballrooms that can hold 1,000.
“Hilton Singapore Orchard will be one of the most anticipated hotels to open in 2022 and an exciting addition to the vibrant scene in Orchard Road,” said general manager Cedric Nubul. “The hotel is set to be a destination of choice for business and leisure travelers, as well as those residing here.”
