HILTON, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says several teenagers are facing charges in connection with a string of burglaries and larcenies that triggered a lockout at several Hilton schools on Monday.
According to deputies, the group of young men, all from Rochester, were seen running through backyards and going through unlocked cars around the Summertime Trail and Collamer Road area. Several neighbors reported larcenies and a burglary.
While looking for the suspects, deputies stopped and checked several Hilton school buses after they received information that a suspect may have gotten on a bus. Several schools in the area also went into lockouts during that search.

Deputies found a stolen car at the scene and recovered two of three long guns they say were stolen from another car. On Tuesday, investigators say the third long gun was recovered and they believe all suspects involved are accounted for.
Trevor Gulley, 18, Tinos McBride Jr., 19, and Trevon Burkett, 20, were charged with burglary, grand larceny and petit larceny and are in jail on $50,000 cash bail, police say. The sheriff's office says a 15-year-old was given an appearance ticket for family court and a 17-year-old was remanded to Onondaga Children's Center.
