A new project that added a large new parking structure to 6th St. at Front St. is done, and the garage is open. The garage includes about 600 spaces and will allow the development of several projects in the area.
The garage is owned by Downtown Boise developer Clay Carley, and will service his apartment project about a block away, as well as other projects.
It is attached to a new hotel under construction, Home2 Suites by Hilton Boise Downtown. The hotel will be owned and operated by Raymond Management, which also owns the nearby Hampton Inn.
Work on the hotel portion of the project continues, with exterior and interior work underway. The building’s brick façade is starting to go up.
Crews started work on the building started in February of 2019.
It will will include 140 rooms, a streetfront patio, bar and more.
