The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa, a legend among downtown Denver hotels since 1892—managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts and owned by Crescent Real Estate LLC reopened its doors on June 10, 2020, for the second time in its illustrious, 128-year history. In adherence with state and local regulations and guidance, The Spa officially reopened on May 8, and the property will also resume limited operation of its dining establishments and bars on June 10, serving a full complement of breakfast, lunch and dinner, including service of Afternoon Tea in the famed Atrium Lobby.
Committed to the safety of guests, team members, vendors and partners, The Brown Palace advanced its safety protocols and best practices, implementing enhanced precautions including, but not limited to, enforcing social distancing guidelines, increased staff training and the use of personal protective equipment, rolling out new cleaning technologies, heightening sanitization of the property and its public, high touch areas, while providing hand sanitizer dispensers throughout, exercising rigorous housekeeping guidelines and much more.
“The return to operation of The Brown Palace is something we’ve all looked forward to for the past two months,” said General Manager, Nick Moschetti. “After uninterrupted operation for the past 128 years, this pause has allowed us to reflect on our place in Denver’s past, present and future. We have worked hard to ensure we are at our best, serving our guests to the level they’ve come to expect, with safety front of mind, and we can’t wait to serve again on June 10th, and for the next 128 years.”
For a limited a time, The Brown will be offering nightly rates as low as $109, and the first 50 guests to stay at The Brown Palace will be part of history by signing the “Guest Book,” which will forever be part of the hotel archives.
