One of these newbuild Hampton by Hilton hotels will make its debut later this year in Bialystok, while the other is expected to open in Tarnowo Podgórne in 2023.

Two new properties are set to join the 13 existing Hampton by Hilton properties already hosting guests around Poland, it has been announced.

Bolstering Hampton by Hilton’s European footprint

Hilton Worldwide has signed a pair of franchise agreements in Poland, paving the way for the creation of two more hotels, Hampton by Hilton Bialystok and Hampton by Hilton Tarnowo Podgórne.

The 122-key Hampton by Hilton Bialystok is to be developed by Rogowski Development and managed by VHM Hotel Management, with an expected opening later this year. Hampton by Hilton Tarnowo Podgórne, which is to house 135 guest rooms, is owned by Grupa Konkret and will be managed by City Park Hotel Management – it’s due to make its debut in late 2023.

“The opening of these two hotels in Poland will allow us to fulfil unmet demand in two key commercial districts, whilst furthering the rapid growth of Hilton in Poland, which now has 23 properties trading and a further 16 planned,” said Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development in Europe, Middle East and Africa for Hilton. “This double signing illustrates our continued momentum across Central and Eastern Europe and will help us to capture pent-up demand as travel resumes.”

A hub for tourism and transportation

Hampton by Hilton Bialystok will introduce travellers to the largest city in north-east Poland, which is often used as a base for discovering the natural wonders of the Podlachia region. Bialystok is home to a number of industries and its geographical location makes it a popular transportation hub between Poland and the East.

The newbuild six-storey hotel will house guest facilities including a Hampton Hub, fitness centre and meeting spaces, plus parking. Its location will place guests within a short walk of sites like the Podlaska Opera and Orchestra, University of Bialystok campus and the Puppet Theatre of Bialystok.

“As the largest residential developer group in the Bialystok and Podlaskie region, we saw a great opportunity in Bialystok, with the need for internationally branded hotels,” said Radosław Rogowski, vice president of Rogowski Development. “We are excited to embark on our first hotel project with Hilton, bringing over 30 years of residential development knowledge in Poland. We look forward to welcoming guests to the hotel later this year.”

A business community in west-central Poland

Hampton by Hilton Tarnowo Podgórne, meanwhile, will provide a convenient place to stay in the picturesque village of Tarnowo Podgórne in west-central Poland. This village is home to an active business community, with companies including Coca Cola and Lidl nearby, and is bordered by the city of Poznań.

The newbuild hotel, situated on Poznańska 40 Street, will be home to an array of facilities including the brand’s Hampton Hub, flexible meeting space and a fitness centre.

“Hampton by Hilton Tarnowo Podgórne will be our first partnership with Hilton,” said Wieslaw Jan Prusiecki, founder and owner of Grupa Konkret. “We are already well-entrenched in the hospitality business with our existing four hotels and have plans for several more hospitality projects in the future. We cannot wait to welcome guests to the hotel from late 2023.”
